Highley Manor Weddding Videography

Highley Manor is one of my favourite venues in West Sussex. It has beautiful lawns with stunning views out over the Sussex countryside. You can even make out the majestic sight of the Ouse Valley viaduct in the valley below on a clear day. This makes for a perfect place for your guests to have drinks and mingle as well as plenty of space for fun lawn games.

This 19th Century Manor house is located near Haywards Heath in the heart of the Sussex Downs and can host over 80 day guests and evening reception of up to 200. It also has plenty of rooms for your guests to stay overnight as well.

The addition of their new striking wooden beamed pavilion makes for a spectacular place to exchange your vows, whilst also offering both and indoor and outdoor venue for the service. It's great to have this flexibility as the great British weather can be unpredictable at times and you can move locations at a moment's notice.

The light around Highely can be spectacular and is exactly what you want as a photographer. As the lawn faces South, you get the most of the sunshine all day. The views out into the valley makes for stunning background for pictures and there are opportunities for incredible golden hour pictures and spectacular sunsets.

Highley also has a dedicated bridal getting ready room which is great to have your hair and make up in and a place for your bridal party to hang out in the morning.

The ballroom is light and airy with high ceilings and lovely light coming in through the South-facing windows. This can look spectacular for your wedding breakfast and is also the perfect location for you and your guests to spill back out onto the lawn during and after courses. Once the room is flipped round for your evening celebrations, it again is in the perfect place for you to filter in and out, especially on a balmy evening!
